Qualified candidates for this position will have experience with wet chemistry, chromotography including HPLC and GC as well as sound knowledge of basic analytical techniques. The chemist is responsible for performing analytical and biological tests and investigating test failures in support of release of finished products; participating in validation of test methods; review of peer data; and revising SOP’s in an FDA-regulated environment.
Bachelor of Science in Chemistry or related science field is required.
Industrial experience and knowledge of cGMP and FDA Guidelines is a plus.
A qualified candidate will be detail and goal oriented with good organizational skills and the ability to communicate clearly and concisely. Strong documentation skills are required. Instrumentation knowledge of UV/Vis, GC and HPLC is beneficial. Strong analytical problem-solving skills and proficiency using Windows based software is required.
